Les Projectos
Podcast
In this video, I go over my creative process. I enjoyed playing with footage I already I gathered over the years with my phone. It is so interesting how my phone has become more than a communicating device; it is library of recorded data of my life (shivers just ran down my spine)!! My goal for this video was to play with transitions using old footage. Most of my old footage were moments that inspired me, which aided my creative process.

The Group Project; Lesson Plan was probably my favorite group project I have ever been a part of. My group mates were a group of incredible ladies who were truly passionate about education. I loved the affirmation we received from each other. I believe a positive energy and environment brought by educators is necessary to engage students with whatever content you are teaching. I am interested to see how group teaching would effect students learning.

My friend Xochilt Vargas and I went to Music Center’s Dance DTLA for Funk Night. Music Center’s Dance DTLA is a free night of dancing, featuring a live band or DJ and top L.A. dance instructors providing beginner dance lessons for a different genre each Friday during the summer.
I am very passionate about dancing, even more passionate when the dance events are free. We learned some cool funky new moves that night! I recommend this summer series event to any one who loves dancing and trying new things!
As we were heading out (to another dance event #dancing for days), Xochilt was stopped by a song she loves and this video happened (well the rotoscoping came afterwards but you know what I mean).

Tutorial

My tutorial will be on how to make snowflakes. When I was in elementary, my favorite books to check out were the DIY craft books. I remember the coolest thing I learned from those books was how to make a snowflake with my mom! I have noticed that not many people know of this craft, so I thought this would be a great DIY tutorial project. It is easy! All you need is paper and scissors. I never knew how easy it would be to make a tutorial using my phone. The set up was a bit tricky because I had the phone set up right in front of me, but it ended up working out. Although it is less work to talk in real time, it was harder for me to give directions fluidly. Overall, this project was fun to do; I was happy to see my classmates make paper snowflakes.
